KDW was brought into this project when its original design by another firm failed to achieve a successful permit. Working closely with City agencies, KDW redesigned the 144-unit facility with a pile foundation to accommodate its boggy site, along with a modified roofline to maintain the same number of units within the City’s restrictions for building height. Located in the University Village District of Seattle, Washington, this hotel continues to service guests to this day.
