This one-story 13,000 sf facility provides the primary HVAC systems for three buildings, along with augmentation and back-up HVAC for six additional multi-story buildings.

Included in the structure are four 1000-ton chillers, one 350-ton chiller, 18 pumps, and two nominal 2,200-ton cooling towers. To reduce the overall visible “bulk” of the structure, the facility was designed partly into a hillside, with roof-top parking and masonry details to complement adjacent building architecture. The project was completed within seven months at a construction cost of $7.4 million.
